Peterborough Women’s Development Community (PWDC) are delighted to announce that Olympic Silver Medalist Gail Emms will be speaking at the next PWDC event on Thursday 6 April 2017, from 4-6.30pm, at the Allia Future Business Centre, Peterborough. To register Click Here.
Gail, who won silver in badminton at the Beijing Olympics, will speak and hold a discussion session with participants about the secrets of her success and how to perform at your best – while balancing career and young family, and transitioning from one career to another.
PWDC was born from a conversation last summer between a small group of interested (and interesting!) women, keen to create something stimulating and beneficial for professional working women in Peterborough. The group meets quarterly at Allia Future Business Centre Peterborough, a founding member and keen supporter of PWDC.
Events so far have covered topics from ‘Networking with Confidence and Clarity’ to ‘Building your Personal Brand’ and will continue to focus on stimulating and relevant topics to further member’s growth and personal development.
Jennifer Cramb, one of the founders and member of the co-ordinating group for PWDC said, “We are really delighted that Gail will come along to discuss and share her secrets to success and her own learning and techniques that enabled her to excel. Gail is an inspiring and engaging speaker and this is a great learning and development opportunity for women (and men!) in Peterborough to gain inspiration, motivation and learning from a top athlete.”
Thanks to generous sponsorship from Anglian Water and Allia Future Business Centre, this event is free of charge and open to all participants.
